 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath willreshuffle his cabinet on Wednesday. According to sources, at least 24 newministers are likely to be inducted in the Yogi Adityanath-led government inthe state.Out of 24, six will be cabinet rank ministers, while six others willbe ministers with independent charge. Remaining 12 will be ministers of statein the Yogi cabinet.

The sources said that the names of new inductees werefinalised after hectic deliberations between Yogi Adityanath, UP BJP chiefSwatantra Dev Singh and state BJP organisational secretary Sunil Bansal at thechief minister's official residence in Lucknow.

The finalised list was sent to the state's Governor thismorning.

Ahead of the cabinet expansion, several senior ministershave resigned to make way for new entrants in the ministry.Finance MinisterRajesh Agarwal had sent his resignation to the Chief Minister on Tuesdayafternoon while state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh, who was the TransportMinister, had put in his papers on Monday.

Other ministers who have also put in their papers are ChetanChauhan, Anupama Jaiswal, Mukut Bihari Verma and Swati Singh though there wasno official confirmation of the same yet. Resignations of five Uttar PradeshCabinet Ministers - Minister Rajesh Agarwal, Transport Minister Swatantra DevSingh and other ministers Archana Pandey, Anupama Jaiswal and Dharampal Singh,have been accepted.
